Ulster pop princess Nadine Coyle has been named 27th in a list of the Sexiest Women in the World.

The Girls Aloud pop star, who hails from Londonderry, came in below fellow band members Cheryl Tweedy (7) and Sarah Harding (17).

But Nadine, who recently split from Desperate Housewives heart-throb Jesse Metcalfe, can take comfort from the fact that she was placed higher than Carmen Electra, Halle Berry, the OC's Rachel Bilson and Jennifer Aniston.

US actress Jessica Alba was crowned the Sexiest Woman in the World.
