Lindsay Lohan in cocaine scandal

US actor Lindsay Lohan has allegedly been photographed snorting cocaine and shoving it up her friend's nose as she and two mates crammed into a club toilet during a wild night on the town.

The News of the World says Lohan was caught on a secret tape allegedly taking the drug at the exclusive Teddy's nightclub in Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel.

The video reportedly shows the 21-year-old arriving at 11pm and hanging around the bathrooms before creeping inside a toilet cubicle.

The paper said that once inside the loo with two friends, Lohan pulled out a small bag from her jeans pocket. She dipped her finger in and shoved the substance up her friend's nose before snorting some up her own.

A friend of Lohan's who supplied the newspaper with the secret tape said the Mean Girls star had snorted 20 lines of cocaine in one night alone. She said she was worried the troubled actress, who has already been in and out of rehab, was spiralling out of control.

"That's why I'm showing this video," she said. "So the world can know what Lindsay has been doing and she can't lie about it to herself or anyone else."
