Porn Star Takes NBC Behind The Scenes

Porn Star Takes NBC 10 Behind The Scenes

Some of you might know him as Tommy Gunn, his professional name that he uses in the pornography industry.

Tommy Gunn told NBC 10 that he has nothing to hide, and he wasn't kidding.

NBC 10 ended up in a small studio outside Los Angeles. NBC 10 agreed not to disclose the exact location.
After a steamy kiss, Cherry Hill born and bred Gunn stripped off all his clothes and had sex with his co-star right on the casino table in front of everyone. The director and cameramen looked bored, like they've seen it 1,000 times, because they have.

For Gunn, it's another $2,000 payday doing what he loves.

"I'm told all the time I have the dream job. Every guy that I meet, 'You get to have sex with beautiful women and they pay you for it , too,'" Gunn said.
After only three years performing in X-rated films, Gunn has been named male performer of the year, which is quite a feat in this industry considering he's 40 years old.

In fact, while many men might think they'd like to do what he does, NBC 10 was told there are only about 20 in the business who can. Performing on demand for hours with people filming from every angle is a specialized talent.
"Focus and being 100 percent OK with it in my soul and my brain and my spirit, and if I wasn't , I couldn't do it," Gunn said.

He said an old girlfriend got him into the business, and a guy from Philadelphia gave him his first starring role.
Gunn got a little sensitive when asked what a nice guy like him is doing in a business like pornography.

"I can kick the door down and shoot everybody in the head over a drug deal on TV, but the minute you see somebody naked it's a big deal," Gunn said.
Gunn said his wife is a porn star too. He admits the marriage isn't going well, but still defends his career choice.

"For me, it's an honest living. I'm not doing drugs. I'm not hurting anybody. I'm not doing anything illegal," Gunn said.

He believes the industry is going more mainstream.

"We're not doing anything that people aren't doing at their own room in their own privacy. I mean, we just agree to do that as a form of entertainment, we're making a product," Gunn said.
